I guess democracy doesn’t really mean democracy after all. And I bet Putin has just as much power as prime minister as he had as president... Medvedev is just his puppet. He’s still really the one in control, it won’t make a huge difference.

If Bush were good president for USA, he would have been elected once more after 4 years. Would it be a democracy if he was elected once more? I think you answer “yes”. Russian people like Putin and want him to govern Russia as president or prime minister anyway. I think it’s democracy. Dictatorship is also democracy if people want it.

I dont care what everyone else says, Putin is taking Russia in right direction and of course west doesnt like it. Say what you say, economy is little bit better at least, I remember those 90s.....this is the reason I am in US. For some reason I think my homeland will be better off with Putin than some random sell out *cough* Gorbachev, Elcin *cough*
