I found this today on Y-net:

”Correction: King Abdullah’s dog wasn’t treated in Israel

”Ynetnews Published: 04.06.09, 19:45 / Israel News

”On March 29th, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that a sick dog said to belong to Jordan’s King Abdullah was treated at an Israeli hospital. The story was published on Ynetnews as well.

”A further inquiry into the story revealed that the report was incorrect, prompting Yedioth Ahornoth to issue an apology to its readers.”

However, the fact that King Abdallah II has more feelings for his dog than he does for Palestinians is interesting– and revealing. Do you think it has something to do with the fact that the PLO tries to take Jordan away from his father in 1970 and turn it into a Palestinian state?

Grudges and feuds are common in Arab culture. Could the King’s priorities be a result of such a grudge?
