Palestine :

Just watch this video and understand why the two-state solution is dead. Israelis have simply made it impossible for a contiguous and viable Palestinian state to emerge.

The Israeli public is about to elect Benyamin Netanyahu as their Prime Minister. A man who rejects the two state solution and argues that the Palestinians should be denied self-government and, instead, be given “economic independence” within the tiny Bantustans just like in apartheid South Africa.

Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu grabs a green marker and jumps from his seat to sketch a map of the West Bank on a whiteboard. With vigorous strokes, the former Israeli prime minister and current leader of the rightwing Likud party outlines his plan for tackling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

What emerges is not what the Palestinians and almost the entire international community have in mind, which is a contiguous Palestinian state that follows broadly the borders in place before the 1967 war and the Israeli occupation. Instead, Mr Netanyahu wants to see the West Bank divided into a collection of disconnected economic zones with dedicated business projects.

What people like “Bibi” fail to understand is that the Palestinians are not some people on whom which a solution can just be imposed. Either two-states or one-state? Israelis have made the choice with their destructive behavior. It’s time for the whole world to unite behind a one-state solution.

I propose the no state solution since Palestinian belligerence has taken both the two state and one state solutions off the table.

The Palestinians can go to Saudi Arabia. Wait. The Saudis hate them. They can go to Kuwait. Nope. The Kuwaitis hate them. They can go to Egypt. Not a chance. The Egyptians hate them.

Such a charming people.
