Such us the bigoted cry of the American Right where Islamophobia and anti-Arab prejudice are not only tolerated but seem to have risen to become core tenets of conservatism.

On Saturday 12, 2009, an estimated 75,000 right-wingers marched on Capital Hill in an incoherent, idiosyncratic, and delusional protest of Obama. Not Obama’s policies, as they claim, but simply the man Obama.

These protesters are latent racists at the very least. They complain about the deficit and debt, but Bush inherited a surplus and and a 10-year possibility of paying off the national debt and left office with a record $1 deficit and an increase in trillions in national debt. They complain that Obama is bailing out banks and car firms. But it was Bush whom got Congress to pass roughly $750 billion in a bank bailout fund and then when Congress denied him money to bailout GM and Chrysler Bush claimed, without legal right, the ability to use bank bailout money for a car firm.

Obama has inherited Bush’s debt and deficit, he did not run it up. Obama is bailing out bank further, but doing so from the fund Bush established. Obama only continued the bailout of the car firms that Bush started first with $20 billion given to both firms.

It is entirely decent to be opposed to the enactment or continuation or both of these policies. But when one is only enraged and only protests vocally when Obama does it and not Bush then the variable that actuates the protest is clearly the different in race.

The crackers marching on the lawn are a bunch of bigoted racists whom despise Obama, because unlike Bush’s high spending Obama is seen as the Black “welfare Queen” taxing hard-working White people. This is a classical racist Republican paradigm. These protesters seek to make illegitimate the first Black president but such tactics as accusing him of having a Kenyan birth certificate, and thus ineligible to be president.

And their bigoted is not only against the Black president, but also against Muslims (of course, Obama is one and the same for them):

A protester at Saturday’s Tea Party on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. made clear that she was afraid, saying “We are losing our country, we think the Muslims are moving in and taking over.”

Yes, American Muslims whom are a small minority so political insignificant that they can’t get nearly any politician to speak to them are “taking over.”

Such is the deranged, sick world of present-day American conservatism.
