Iraq :

In a new report, the Associated Press has counted over 87,000 Iraqi lives lost since the American invasion in March 2003. Thousand more could be dead as that many more Iraqis remain unaccounted for. How did Americans feel on September 11th, 2001 when 3,000 of their country men and women died? And now imagine the tragedy that has befallen Iraq.

I wonder if someone like George Bush will ever lose sleep over the carnage he has wrought. I wonder if he will ever spend even a minute second guessing his decision. I am certain he doesn’t, that he does not even care one bit about the Iraqi people. He is too busy congratulating himself as some sort of “decider,” thinking he is a great president and a great liberator. When I think of his arrogance, his dismissive behavior, his cowboy attitude and what he has begotten the Iraqi people I am filled with a rage I have a hard time articulating.

Over 87,000 Iraqis Killed
Bush has blood on his hands.

One time he was asked how many Iraqis he thinks have been killed since the invasion, and Bush casually answered, “about 30,000 more or less” and then shrugged. He responded, as Jon Stewart noted, as if someone asked him how many beans are in a jar. How can a man responsible for so many deaths speak out 30,000 dead people with such a normal, casual attitude? This is a reprehensible human being. He could care less about the dead Iraqis. Judging by his answer he clearly does not think about them for one moment, it does not bother him at all.

Another time when a study was put out estimated the number of dead Iraqis at 650,000; the Bush administration responded and bragged, the way Israel brags when it states that “only” hundreds of Palestinians have been killed; the Bush administration bragged that “only” 50,000 Iraqis have been killed. Has there ever been more offensive language.

George Bush is by far one of the most morally bankrupt, morally grotesque world leaders ever. It is unfair that Omar Bashir has been called up by The Hague. Bush should be tried for the death of every single Iraqi for all their deaths is a direct result of his invasion of the country. An invasion based on a anthology of lies and fabrications against a nation that posed no threat to the United States or any of its neighbors.

Gob bless the lost lives in Iraq and may God deny George Bush any peace for what he has wrought.

How, how on Earth can these blood sucking filth stalking the corridors of power sleep at night? How can Cheney, Bush , Perle, Wolfowitz, Powel, Rice, Rumsfeld, Boot, Krauthammer, Fieth, Luti, Hadley, and dozens more who we don't even know their names look at themselves in the mirror.

Deaths are sad. Any human dying is a tragic event. How far are we willing to go in order to continue this culture of mass consumption and materialism? How many human lives are we willing to sacrifice to feed our greed?

Not to mention how many soldiers have lost limbs and had other unrepairable damage.

I think most people are aware of how many soldiers have died, however I don't think most people are aware of how many Iraqi citizens have died, and that's the number people really need to know.
