Obama's Socialist Plan to Destory the American Economy

President Barack Obama - prior to his election the most liberal senator- wasted scant time before his announced his intention to raise taxes on the wealthy.

For America’s left-wingers and leftists everywhere the rich simply cannot pay enough in taxes. “Tax and tax them some more,” goes the Marxist cry. Never mind that the top 1% contribute 39% of all tax revenues; and that is up from 37% from 2000. Yeah, that means that the share of the 1% of the tax burden actually increased during the Bush years. And the top 25% pay 86% of all taxes! But the liberals could care less about such facts, they cling to the Marxist belief in a so-called progressive tax.

In Marx’s Communist Manifesto his second “measure” out of ten was: “A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.”

The Washington Post reports:

“Obama also seeks to increase tax collections, mainly by making good on his promise to eliminate some of the temporary tax cuts enacted in 2001 and 2003. While the budget would keep the breaks that benefit middle-income families, it would eliminate them for wealthy taxpayers, defined as families earning more than $250,000 a year. Those tax breaks would be permitted to expire on schedule in 2011. That means the top tax rate would rise from 35 percent to 39.6 percent, the tax on capital gains would jump to 20 percent from 15 percent for wealthy filers and the tax on estates worth more than $3.5 million would be maintained at the current rate of 45 percent.”

Taxes on the rich often lead to reduced productivity and instead of increasing tax revenues they end of reducing tax receipt, but above that this is so un-American. People should pay the same amount in taxes; that is the principle of equality. One works only to have the state forcibly take nearly half your income! This is not what the founders envisioned for Americans. Liberals do not have an appreciation for your constitution. Instead of valuing freedom and liberty above all, they speak of “fairness” and of remaking America to fit their image of what “progressive” nation should look like. You work your whole life to save over $3.5 million to leave to your children and then the government steps in to take 45% of it! There is a reason why there was no estate tax during America’s first hundred years.

And read what his vice-president recently said about the economic plan: “President Obama has put our nation on a path toward greater recovery, not only greater recovery, but greater decency, greater fairness, greater opportunity along with economic recovery.”

Fairness? Even if it was fair, which it’s not fair to make some pay more than others simply because they have honestly earned more. But even if it was fair, does fairness trump freedom, liberty and the American constitution? And does the effort to institute “fairness” override the intention of reviving the economy?

This same fairness-above-all of a vice-president also once said that paying taxes is patriotic. Yes, apparently working hard to earn money for your and your families well-being and then opposing efforts by the government to tax you to an unreasonable level so it can redistribute your money to farmers and city artists [ect..., ect..., ect...] makes you in the world of Biden unpatriotic. An if paying taxes makes one such a good American, why then does Biden not volunteer to pay taxes? That anti-American son-of-bitch!

Further, Biden takes a good game about the rich paying more so that they middle class and lower class can get more help. But Biden is only generous with other people’s money. Between 2000 and 2008 the Bidens made $30 million. Do you know how much they gave to charity in that time period? Only $3,000. The average American household gave more in that time period.

I am for helping the middle class - which includes my family - but one should begin by remove trade barres that increase the price of good, ending farm subsidies that increase the price of food, and cutting taxes so that people have more of their money to spend. Do that first, and then we’ll discuss redistribution.

“It is easy to be conspicuously “compassionate” if others are being forced to pay the cost.” - Murray N. Rothbard

Man, the Bidens might have given $3000 in charity, if your source is correct, but they paid their fair amount of tax without crying like a spoilt baby.

It is getting to the time when we may tell those who do not want to pay taxes to find another country where taxes are not paid and move there.

The rich who pay taxes are those who must. Those who can do not pay anything. In fact, if we can get the rich to really pay what they need to pay, the poor do not have to worry about paying taxes.

But I don’t expect anyone who bought the right wing propaganda to understand it.

the rich do pay more than their fair share, and why should the tax burden by entirely on them? Every should pay an equal amount of their earnings. And why don’t you find another country that follows your socialist views. I hear Sweden is nice

Well, here’s one subject we agree upon, Marco.

It’s ironic, Rudolf, that, how many of Obama’s cabinet or potential cabinet members cheated on their taxes? He still has one in his cabinet.. Geithner.

I don’t believe it’s fair that if someone chooses to work harder than I do that they have to support my less ambitious ass.

By the way, how do one destroy something that is already destroyed?
