Killing an Arab for Being an ArabThis killer thug will receive a slap on the wrist:

The Jewish youth, Vitaly Sayenko, 18, made a decision to kill Karuwani for no other reason than that Karuwani was an Arab, the prosecution said.

In the Arab-Israeli town of Nazareth [mostly Arab], Samah Karuwani was visiting relatives in an apartment shared by Sayenko three weeks ago.

Sayenko accuse Karuwani of attempting to break into his apartment for no apparent reason. Karuwani told him he was on his way to visit relatives as he walked in the stairwell.

Sayenko then went back into his apartment to grab a knife. He then started to run toward Karuwani whom naturally fled in horror. Karuwani tired to stop a car for help, but it drove away.

When Sayenko finally caught up to Karuwani, he asked him why he was so afraid [as if him running with a knife was normal behavior]?

Sayenko tired to calm the fears of Karuwani by offering him a cigarette. A standing Karuwani was then struck with Sayenko’s knife in the face and head.

The prosecution said that Karuwani was in shock, bleeding and badly beaten, and that he ran towards the building, and entered the elevator but Sayenko ran after him, pressed a button to stop the elevator and brought it back to the ground floor, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz.

When the elevator door opened, the Arab youth was pleading for his life but Sayenko stabbed him in the heart and killed him.

He then threw the knife in the elevator shaft, and went to his apartment to wash his bloody clothes and hands.

If the killer was an Arab and the victim a Jew, you can be sure that Israel would revoke its so-called death penalty ban and put the Arab to death. But because the killer was a Jew and the Israeli so-called justice system does not care for Arabs then the killer will probably just receive a few years in some minimum security jail.

The very fact that he’s been indicted already puts him on the road to justice one step ahead of Palestinian Arabs who murder Jews—and are applauded by government authorities, up to and including the former PA president, Mahmoud Abbas.

Up to now, the only person ever executed in Israel was Adolph Eichmann—as you well know. If there was ever room to lay aside the ban on the death penalty, it would have been for Yitzhak Rabin’s [Jewish] assassin, Yigal Amir, not this case.

This is a hate crime, pure and simple—and should be treated as such. He’ll probably get the maximum, which is 30 years. It’s not enough. But it’s not enough for this other case, either:

“The alleged killer of Israeli-American teen Dana Bennett and Sylvia Molrowa, a 27-year-old Czech tourist, was indicted for murder at the Nazareth District Court on Thursday.

“Adwan Farhan, 34, of the northern village of Wadi Hamam, was charged with three counts of murder, kidnapping with intent to murder, rape and abduction.”

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1095578.html

Both have been indicted for first-degree murder. Neither will receive a death sentence.

The most extreme irony of all is that both are represented by court-appointed public defenders—the Jew by an Arab lawyer, and the Arab by a Jewish lawyer.

Please don’t compare, Israel supposedly a state of law, while the Palestinians government are a corrupted group, represents no one, and are governing illegally because it has the support of the US and Israel, just to create party against the democratically elected HAMAS.

Anyhow, what I can get of this article is that Israel is a country built on war and fear, and will be for a like this long time to come, its people are living in terror and are alerted all the time to a a degree where they can’t recognize a peaceful visitor from a terrorist, and where everyone can grab a weapon and can kill very easily.

Tell me, what are you going to say when the next Palestinian elections come around in seven months? Will Hamas accept results that put them out of power? Will Fatah accept results that put them out of power?

You seem fixated on the point of Hamas being democratically elected—but can you even try to say that their actions since the elections have been democratic? What about the summary executions—giving Fatah supporters in Gaza “flying lessons” by throwing them off tall buildings? What about the knee-cappings and summary executions of suspected “collaborators”? All this was done without due process or any hint of the procedures normal in a democratic country.

PW: “Anyhow, what I can get of this article is that Israel is a country built on war and fear, and will be for a like this long time to come, its people are living in terror and are alerted all the time to a degree where they can’t recognize a peaceful visitor from a terrorist, and where everyone can grab a weapon and can kill very easily.”

This shows not only prejudice, but a total lack of understanding. I read it as the act of one very sick individual who hates Arabs and will pay the price for it by spending a large part of his life behind bars, which he deserves for taking a life.

Did you even bother to read the second article?

It’s about an Israeli Arab who murdered three people and raped at least one of them. He’s another sick individual who will spend a large part of his life behind bars, as well.

Look around your own house—there are weapons galore to use—even a rolled-up newspaper can be a deadly weapon, every home has a kitchen filled with knives and other sharp objects, pieces of wood or left-over pipes that can be used as clubs, poisons in cleaning materials and household insecticides and more. Shall we outlaw all of them? Are they outlawed in any country in the world?

Even a gun is only an inanimate object until someone picks it up with the intent of using it to kill another person—and it’s a lot easier to purchase a gun in the US or Canada than it is in Israel.

The only real “weapon” is a person with intent to kill.
