Palestine :

As much as Israel tired both in Jerusalem and in the West Bank, it can not change the demographics that are tilted against the apartheid ideology of Zionism. No one is going to stop the Palestinians from having children.

Besides the growing Arab population in the West Bank, Gaza Stripe and Israel “proper”; there is also the growing Arabization of Jerusalem.

Ha’arezt reports:

Today, 66 percent of Jerusalem’s residents are Jews and 34 percent are Arabs. By 2020, the Jews are expected to comprise 60 percent of the city’s population, while the Arabs are expected to reach 40 percent.

Of course, Israel is none too happy. It has and continues to engage in ethnic cleansing by demolishing Arabs homes, apartment and even entire neighborhoods.

Recently, there was been the planned demolition of the Arab town of Silwan in East Jerusalem:

But try as it might, Israel will not defeat the Palestinians. Hanna Arendt in a 1950s essay for an American academic journal expressed amusement with the Zionist stereotype of Arabs as a people who understand only the language of force. She wrote then that just looking at the progression of the Zionist movement in Palestine over the last half-century, if there is one language the the Arabs do not understand it is the language of force.

Israelis have yet to understand that the Palestinians will not be subdued, that they will not be made to submit, that there will be no victory over them. Even if Israel ethnically cleansed them, the Palestinians would still resist from a new enclave. This is a courageous people on whom violence have been inflicted upon for more than a century and yet their nationalism cannot be broken.

Israel can try to take over Jerusalem and more of the West Bank, but these are hollow victory on a losing path. The Palestinians will not end their struggle until they have achieved statehood.

Jerusalem becoming Arab? The whole Arab region will be converted into holy Jerusalem if Arabians didn’t change their attitude towards the Israel.

Israel is still refusing the Peace deal presented by the Arabs.

What deal Israel is proposing... none, They want to keep the land kick the Palestinian out and have Peace and good neighbor..

They want all and to give none.

As long as the land is occupied Peace will be missing.

Israeli's are very protective of Jerusalem and want it to be their undivided capital rather than a shared capital with a Palestinian state. The whole question of Jerusalem is probably the most important reason this conflict hasn't ended.

Both sides have committed injustices. Focusing only on the injustices of one side is simplifying the matter far too much.

Channing,

I can name apartheid ideology and ethnic cleansing as Israelis share of the injustice, could you please name some of the Palestine share other than having too many children. !!!

Both sides committed injustice ... maybe, but what a comparison.
