An independent study conducted by economists at the U.S. Department of Labor reports data which show that overweight women makes less than their thinner counterparts.
DoL economist David Lampert studied nearly 2,000 women over a period of two decades who ranged in weight from 122lbs to 165lbs and found that in 1981 thinner women earned about 4.29% more than more than overweight ones and that the wage disparity has risen to 7.47% in the year 2000.
When conducting further research with 4,000 additional women, Lampert found that the wage disparity might even be higher than 7.47% as his second study group recorded a wage disparity that nearly doubled over a 17 year study period.
Pay discrimination very often goes beyond initial hiring, but continues even after a overweight or obese women has secured a job. Very often overgrown women are less assertive than thinner women for reason owing to self-esteem.
Economists found that men often do not suffer with the consequence of weight in the work place as women do, men with added weight “apparently look stronger.”
Author’s Note: It really is hard to feel sorry for overweight people claiming discrimination. They choose to be overweight, this isn’t some civil rights case. Unlawful discrimination is when someone is hindered due to inherited factors; no one is born fat. My advice to these “more-to-love” ladies: cut the cheesecake and get joking.

Nature looks at overweight woman as bad for genetics -so subconsioucly we discriminate against them
In the west the two groups discriminated against with no repercussions are fat people and dumb people and i think it is time we stop and treat these people with the respect we want
