Israel’s favorite collaborator has decided he was the power to shut down media that he doesn’t like. The chief collaborator [and Holocaust denier, but Zionists always forgive the anti-Semitism of their clients like they did with that unrepentent Nazi Anwar Sadat] Mahmoud Abass recently banned the most popular Arabic channel al-Jazeera from the West Bank. Why? Abass is furious and even threatening a law suit because al-Jazeera carried an interview during which senior Fatah man Faruq Qaddumi stated that Abass conspired with Israel to kill Arafat in 2003 [Arafat died in 2004 in Paris].

Abass is a tyrant in the making. al-Jazeera has the right to host any speaker it wants no matter the claims they make. Abass’ entitlement to be spared such accusations are the hallmarks of dictators and his beef should be with Qaddumi and not with the channel. But Abass is a blundering idiot who is afraid of Qaddumi while he thinks al-Jazeera is an easy target. What a fool! al-Jazeera is the most powerful force in Arab public opinion and Abass will regret his war against them. The Angry Arab explains:

“The Revenge of AlJazeera”? Well, because you better not launch war on AlJazeera: they can really sway Arab public opinion more than Hasan Nasrallah and Yusuf Al-Qaradawi combined. And just as Saudi Arabia and Jordan regretted to try to demonize AlJazeera: which fought back with full force and effectiveness, the PA will regret its war on AlJazeera, especially that the Palestinian people favor AlJazeera and Al-Manar from surveys I have seen.

Now the news today is that the collaborationist regime has decided to take back its decision and will allow al-Jazeera to remain in Ramallah. There is no worst enemy in the Arab than al-Jazeera. As I recently wrote:

Abass has been too much of a coward to directly challenge Qaddami so he has picked on al-Jazeera instead. Big mistake. al-Jazeera has fired back as it did when the Jordanian and Saudi governments also attacked the network. They have amplified the story so that every Arab has now heard several times the accusation that the current self-appointed representative of the Palestinians is even more a Zionist collaborator than Arab already knew.

Abass knew that his image would only worsen if he was aligned against the most popular Arab channel. The United States understands this too, that is why they attacked an al-Jazeera news offices in Iraq more than once and killing their journalists and other Arab journalists often. Can someone say terrorism? And Zionists as well. Billionaire Israeli-American media tycoon one time made a very generous offer to buy Israel because he wanted the channel to start broadcasting Zionist propaganda. That would have been the stupidest investment since Arabs do not assign infallibility to al-Jazeera, if it started to be pro-Israel does not mean the Arabs would follow instead they would turn off the channel as they would have saw it hijacked by a Zionist propagandists.

Anyway, don’t F%ck with al-Jazeera.
