Israel :

There are few people in Israel more obnoxious than President Shimon Peres. Peres is a phony humanist par excellence. I much more appreciate the raw racism and atavism of a Bib or Lieberman, at least they are honest. But Peres pretends his is a dove, but, in fact, it is all an act for the Western cameras. And what Western cameras! Peres is like the Dali Lama, he can’t get enough of of people praising him for his “wisdom.” Peres loves putting on a show as if he is a o’ so wise and great elder statesmen.

Chutzpah of Peres

Peres is a major Hollywood ass-kisser just like that equally vapid Dali Lama. Here he is trying to pretend that he is deep embracing that well-known intellectual known as Madonna. You have heard of her, right? You must check her magnus opus “Like a virgin.” [In all honesty, next to him she sounds like Kant.]

He is anything but. In his 1996 campaign against Netanyahu, Peres launched an attack against South Lebanon because he though it would help his national security credentials. He killed over 100 innocent Lebanese in the Qana attack. This is Zionism: a society where the killeding of children actually helps a politicians image. Israel leaders have been killing Arabs to win “glory” for decades.

Peres defended the killing of over 400 Palestinian children in Gaza, he did not even pay lip-service concern for the loss. And many more incidents of this asshole phony.

And now Peres has the chutzpah to accuse Iran of “colonial ambitions.” Peres states in a Passover interview that Iran wants to control the Middle East. This coming from a man whose country is colonizing the West Bank as we speak and whose ambition is to maintain a military and nuclear hegemony in the Middle East. Israel’s goal, and America’s official policy since the Reagan years, is that Israel should have a military that is superior not just to any Arab army but to all Arab armies. And Israel and American both believe that while Israel has an entitlement to be given a free pass on its biological, chemical and nuclear warheads, no other Arab [or Iran] country is ever allowed to have even the nuclear know-how let alone weapons. Mind you, Israel is opposed to Iran even possessing the information. And the U.S. Congress is now holding up a Bush administration-approved deal between the U.S. and Abu Dhabi that would allow American nuclear firms to aid Abu Dhabi’s development of nuclear power. Even the deal would prohibit Abu Dhabi from ever producing nuclear material [it would be imported] or even knowing how it is done, pro-Israel forces in the Congress worry that at some latter date the Emirate may be able to know how to run the plant on its own and that just can’t happen because only Israel is allowed to that stuff according to American Zionists [Abu Dhabi says that even if America does not help, it will seek assistance elsewhere. France and South Korea are already in talks. Israel seems to think the the status quo can last forever. Fat chance.] All this is Peres is talking about Iranian colonial ambitions. Iran has not invaded or even started a war with any country for hundreds of years. While since its violent birth, Israel has attacked and/or invaded the following countries: Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia, Sudan and in 1973 it downed a Libyan civilian airliner. And Israel still occupies [at least] 22% of Palestine, the Golan Heights in Syria and the Shabaa Farms in south Lebanon. Who’s the one with colonial ambitions? Who’s lecturing whom? What Chutzpah!

And then when former Israeli President Moshe Katsav was convicted for rape, Peres thought that he may spare Israel another embarrassment by switching the subject. “The struggle to improve women’s place in society is a global issue and I tell our Arab neighbors – your main problem is not Israeli domination but male domination,” Peres stated then. Right, male domination; like when Katsav forcibly dominated women. Of course, the exists sexism in the Middle East and in every country. In the U.S., for instance, 20% of women report being abused by their spouse of boyfriend once in their lives. If Peres wanted to make a feminist speech for the whole world, that would be fine. Instead, he was just a douchbad trying to [unsuccessfully] divert attention from Israel’s pervert president.

The Chutzpah of Peres! There will be more to come.

Israel is not a friend of the US. They would screw us in a heartbeat to save their little, special, pile of sand in the ME.

I can’t understand why Israel is so special for US. Is it just due to Israel’s hostility towards Muslim countries?

You should read up on some history. The source of the hoostility comes from the opposite direction, After all, when did Israel threaten to ”wipe Iran off the map”? Iranian politicians swear to ”wipe Israel of the map” with almost comical regularity whenever something is wrong in Iran– inflation, no healthcare, a depressed economy– it’s all Israel’s fault.

If we believed the BS the Arab/Muslim countries spout about Israel so much, we’d be on a personal ego trip forever– just imagine, a tiny country, 0.1% of the land mass of the Middle East with barely 7 million residents is capable of creating all the woes and problems of the Arab/Muslim world, numbering hundreds of millions...

Fortunately, we don’t believe the crap... but a lot of very ignorant/biased people do.
