An Israeli Home Sale
The 1948 ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israeli terrorist militias (not to be confused with the 1967 ethnic cleansing and the one currently ongoing) was a free-for-all for Israeli Jewish usurpers not just in land, but in homes. Countless Israelis walked into the homes of Palestinians and claimed them as their own. Simple thief. Palestinians were denied the right to return to their property and denied even a penny in compensation. If you walk through, say, Jaffa or Jerusalem you will see one Palestinian home with Arabesque designs after another occupied by some Israeli thief.

The Market, an Israeli financial daily, recently advertised such a home for sale. But the seller is, of course, not the rightful Palestinian owner by some Zionist usurper. The headline ran: “For sale, ancient house in Jerusalem for 9 million dollars.:

9 million dollars, that is a nice return for a home you paid nothing for. The current “owner” is the widow of Professor Dan Patenkin, the founder of the economics school at Hebrew University. The rightful owners are the Mughnem family, a fact the article notes, whom built the home in the 1920s. Elias Mughnem, the head of the household, was a Palestinian Christian and once a council secretary in Palestine. His family lost their home in 1948 and have been denied their right to regain it. And in many such cases, private, say, art collections of Palestinians were also detained by Israel and till this day denied return to Palestinians all the while Israel and Jews demand that Jewish savings in Swiss banks be returned to Jewish families. You see, Zionists believe in one standard for Jews and another for everyone else in their racist world.

This is Israel. Stolen homes are sold for not millions on the dollar, but millions on zero. And whom are they allowed to be sold to? The grandson of Elias could not buy this house. If any Arab tired to buy a home in Jerusalem it would be blocked by the highest officials in Israel’s government in this settler-colonial state where everything comes down to Jewish supremacy over the land. The rightful owners of the Mughnem family cannot “buy back” their home, but any Jew from New York with no roots in Jerusalem let alone historical claims to the home can just land in Israel tomorrow and sign papers for the house. (A side note: I know that Jews have some roots in Jerusalem, but these are not meaningful and they do not entitle them to push out the Arabs and build a Jewish state anymore do Arab roots in Spain, which are more tangible and go back only 500 years as opposed to the Jews’ 2000, give Arabs the right to push out Spaniards and Portuguese and rebuild Islamic Spain or Andalusia).

The Mughnem is still denied what is rightful theirs, and a new usurping and thieving Israeli occupant will now move into their home. Is this not racism? To prejudice home buying based on ethnicity and faith? Is this not apartheid? Is this not the true nature of Israel?

Some where there i emphatise and synphatize and i believe that there will come a day and a time when...

Truth will have to prevail...

There will be a facet of life when the meek will be assertive....

and that will be a will of Nature...before God...
