Previously, I praised the Volkswagen as the best middle class brand out there. Unlike the often boring Ford and Toyota, Volkswagen is a car that is slick and exciting, while at the same time it is affordable for the average buyer.
The new Volkswagen Scirocco is a testament to the superior quality of the Volkswagen brand. Just look at the beaut. It has been a big hit in Europe.

There were hopes that this car would debut in America. Rumors were floated that the Scirocco would be sold with more horsepower and a higher price tag than the GTI, but at the New York International Auto Show VW’s head of design Klaus Bischoff stated that the Scirocco would not be sold in America.
He listed three reasons. First, there was the issue of the currency exchange rate. Unlike other VW models, the Scirocco is manufactured exclusively in Europe and would have to be sold in a Euros-converted-dollars price tag that would make it expensive in contrast to similar models.
Second, it would compete with the GTI model. And third, Bischoff stated that with a revamped GTI the Scirocco would not be entirely necessary in the United States.

I strongly disagree. First, the GTI is the GTI and the Scirocco is the Scirocco. They are not the same car, many would prefer the Scirocco over the GTI. Choice is always a good thing. Second, even with a high price tag choice is always a good thing.
America misses out on some great models. Add the Scirocco to the Ford Fiesta, ect...
