A special award for hypocrisy and phony outrage has to go to the Anti-Defamation League. The organization exists ostensibly to combat anti-Semitism, but is now nothing more than an pro-Israel shrill that goes around accusing even the most timid critic of Israel of being a Jew-hater.

The ADL routinely and hysterical accuses any critic of Israel of being an anti-Semite and the group even works to censur pro-Palestinian speakers.

It is resentful of any political activism by Arabs and Muslims for fear that they will grow power and tilt the U.S. balance even a little bit toward sympathy and concern for Palestinians.

This same organization is now fighting a new UN report which accuses Israel of war crimes againat Palestinians in Gaza. During its most recent major offensive, Israel killed over 900 Palestinian civilians, of whom over 400 were children. Israel bombed Palestinian water and sewage plants, Gaza’s only flour mill, a chicken farm, dropped white gas over a school, ect... The Un accuses Israel of doing all this - and more (like making Palestinians human shields) - deliberately.

The ADL went into predictable attack against the report and without refuting a single fact of its findings, was sought to use petty tactics to demonize the report and its authors.

Here’s an example of their tactics:

“The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said the release of the Goldstone Report, which accused Israel and Hamas of committing war crimes during their December January conflict in Gaza, has become “a cause célèbre in the Arab press,” which has churned out a series of anti-Israel cartoons in response.”

Two things: 1) The ADL is more offended by anti-Israel cartoons - as Americans liberals are often more offended by the hurt feelings of Israelis than the actual killings of Arabs - than it is by the Israeli killing of children (which it cheered), and this is a reflection of the innate racism of Zionism which views Arabs as sub-human. 2) The ADL is trying to smear the report solely based on the fact that the report has led to anti-Israeli sentiment. So it is not Israeli action that makes Israel unpopular, but solely the reporting of. This is the [il]logic of the ADL. And if one of those cartoons happens to be anti-Semitic, the ADL will then smear the Goldstone (whose author is Jewish) by stating that it is inciting anti-Semitism and that it why this report is flawed.

Do these people not see how stupid this arguments are?
